c jane great blog here! I vote for Taco Time! It's the freshest around!
you are fresh c jane!
love,
c jane
Chicken soft tacos from Del Taco
oh, for bajio's sake!
for crying out lenitos!
(el azteca chips and salsa)
I choose Time. after time.
uno - taco time.
dos - taco hell.
tres - hell taco.
taco time.
HOW DARE YOU!!!
numero uno Taco Time--
but I must say the Taco Time's in Seattle kick everywhere elses behind and I don't know why they are just different!
Del Taco is where I used to go to clear my sinuses. And get strawberry milkshakes.
My mom loves Taco Bell because they have Dr. Pepper.
I have never eaten at Taco Time, but I will get back to you on that one.
Does this qualify as an answer?
Taco Bell
I've never eaten at Del Taco and I had a bad eating experience at Taco Time.
Who is this masked JeanBean because I love them. It's true... Seattle Taco Time's rock. The Provo TT by Movie's 8 is dumb.
Taco Time crispy chicken burrito's in the kids meal so I don't feel so guilty.
Taco Time, if I can't get me some Bajio.
Taco Time all the way...
crisp bean burritos with ranch YMMMM except when you are working graves and craving a bean burrito you have to settle for del taco! YUMMM
Toxic Hell a.k.a. Taco Bell will not get my vote.
My vote goes to the good ol' Centerville Taco Time that gave me me my first job and has THE BEST taco fast food around.
what's with all this voting for non-listed establishments?
it's taco bell. del taco sells fries, which = blasphemy. and taco time just sounds fake. seriously.
Out of the 3, Taco Time.
2) Taco Bell
But every summer, when I'm in the intermountan west, I must get my fill of crisp bean burritoes of Taco Time fame.
Taco Time!
Taco Bell's on my list of places if I never go there again, I would not shed a metaphorical tear. Also: Wal-Mart. Dont know about the others.
Call me crazy. I will admit it freely. But if were relegated to eating at one of those three, I would have to admit out loud that since a child I have had a taste for the Burrito Supreme at Taco Bell.
There. I've said it. Will you still be my friend?
taco time.
Ahhh.. the post that inspires me to come out from lurkerdom....
Taco Time all the way! No one else has that crisp bean burrito or the greatest advertisement for it with "Cheapest Gas in Town." At least that's what's posted on the marquee in my town.
Taco Time. No contest.
They don't have them out east....I miss my crispy bean burritos!!
Taco Time? Huh?
Taco Bell has the Mexican Pizza, Cinnamon Twists, better burritos, and better hot sauce.
Del Taco has chilli cheese fries, better quesadillas, and always has the perfect carbonation to syrup ratio in their sodas.
Overall I'd have to say Taco Bell.
I hate to brag here, but I grew up going to the Mothership Taco Time, across the street from Taco Time headquarters in Eugene, OR.
And although I do wish the salsa still came in the boxy container rather than a packet, I must say nothing beat a crispy meat burrito. (unless you're a vegetarian like cjane, then I guess the crispy bean would have to do!)
Taco Bell (but only cuz we don't have the other 2 here...otherwise I'd choose Taco Bueno, salivate. salivate.)
DEL TACO!!! I cant't believe there would even have to be a question in some peoples mind, and this is coming from a pregnant woman who lives in the east ands can't get a .79 cent chicken soft taco to save her life.-Believe me you don't want to argue me on this one. (I have never signed a comment before on your blog even though I "stalk" you (as my husband puts it) everyday, but I felt this issue was the one I needed to have my voice heard.
Taco Time, for sure.
oh sakes this one is EASY ... del taco baby - quick someone come bring me some in chicago - now my mouth is watering for them!
I have never eaten at Del Taco, but my vote is for Taco Time!
eww, ewww, any taco place that sells anything deep fried is icky. I have to give del taco props for at least having the OPTION of having steamed corn tortillas, adn taco bell has great frijoles refritos. i'm afraid I never tried taco time because they deep fry their burritos (blasphemers--the only time that's okay is when you sue the proper name: chimichanga, to warn the public of your deep frying). I hail from the birthplace of the chimi (tucson), but the way, where the cook readily admitted it was all a horrible kitchen accident, but the gringos LOVE their fried stuff, so they kept it on the menu!
I like me some Taco Time, but Taco Bell is a lot closer, so I have to run to the border when I'm cravin' a little bean burrito. I do love the plain jane (not you, cjane) ol' bean and cheese burrito from the Bell. Never heard of Del Taco...
My favorite thing above all is the pork burritos from Cafe Rio. My friend got the recipe and anytime she makes them, I practically beg her to bring me one for lunch pronto!!!!
Well, this apparently isn't a very popular view, but I have very sentimental feelings about Taco Bell. I can still eat a plain old hard-shell taco from there any time. P.S. Senior Citz get a free drink there -- my parents love it! Their whole meal costs like $2.50 for both of them.
Ranchero Chicken Soft Tacos are THE ONLY thing good at Taco Bell, and yet it gets me there everytime.
#1 Taco Wagon - authentic taco wagons with rust and everything - run by real Mexicans (love the jalapenos) - Do they have those in Church-tah? We have lots in El Pasco.
#2 Taco Bell - Crunchy taco - no cheese please.
#3 Taco Time - if I am willing to cross the border into the next town
Del Taco? (they must only be in Church-tah from the sounds of the other comments)
4). None of the above
Del Taco. Chicken Soft Tacos with a side of salsa. Mmmm.
I have only had taco bell! but since nacho bell grande really would be my meal of choice on death row, I have to still confidently cast my vote for TACO BELL.
Del Taco for sure! If you can't get to Rubio's for fish tacos Del Taco is an OK substitute.
Taco Bell.
I overdosed on Del Taco once upon a time. Taco Time is okay.
TACO TIME.
Hands down.
(Out of those three)
Del Taco - if I have to choose from those 3 - a veggie works and a chocolate shake.
But really the only choice is Taco Lita - in Arcadia, Califronia.
I would have to say Taco Bell.
Maybe because I have happy teenage memories of eating there.
And I love the 7 layer burrito.
that would be California - believe it or not, I have a degree in English.
and hello cousin karen - ella loves the 7 layer as well!
enough comments from me.
Well I'm thinking you got them in the right order....
Del Taco ( I miss DelTaco! The closest one to me is over a 100 miles one way!)
I don't thin I have even been to a Taco Time...
the DEL please
Three Word: "Fried Bean Burrito", and that is only found at TACO TIME. But I do love the Echoli Enchilada at Taco Hell.
I want to throw TACO CABANA in the ring (Texans, you know what I mean!!!)
Taco Time -
Is it weird that just because I've seen you guys there at lunch that I always check the parking lot for the possibility of another random drive by wave each time I go? Answer to self - yes. Yes it is weird.
el pollo loco
1. Chicken soft tacos from Del Taco
2. Taco Time
3. Taco Bell
Taco Time.
I'm not really into any of the three, but if I have to choose...
Del Taco here they have french fries. What would life be like without FRENCH FRIES.
Taco Time Veggie Soft Taco. Huge and delcious.
I'm getting such a kick out of how passionate everyone is about their Mexicana fast food! I'd have to go with Taco Bell--please don't anyone throw any of their crispy bean burritos at me! As a side note, if you live in Provo, you MUST try El Gallo Giro. When everyone in the joint but you is Mexican, it's a GOOD SIGN! Order the molcajete--INCREDIBLE.
Del Taco because they have mushy crinkle fries and amazing strawberry shakes
Also, when I was in High School I could drive to the Del at lunch in EXACTLY the amount of time between the first bell and the last last bell. Oh, Yorba Linda Taco Bell, how I miss thee. You and the Nixon Library.
I was about to cast my vote for Taco Bell, but then scanned through the comments and read a reference to "Toxic Hell". I have to say, it made me reconsider.
But in the end, I'm sticking with it: Taco Bell
cafe rio. does this not count becuase it doesn't have a drive through?
Del. Definitely Del.
i always wanted the chihuahua from the taco bell commercials. but he's not on the menu, i hope.
Courtney, love, what kind of a spell have you put over us all to elicit 60 comments about gross tacos? You amaze.
toxic hell
i mean
taco bell.
it's still my favorite, but i've never been to taco time.
Yep. I am still sticking with Taco Time. But thanks for getting out the vote.
Bonjour first timers! Thanks for the passion.
I just read a comment that mentioned Taco Cabana. Oh how I miss Taco Cabana!! They really need to franchise that outside of Texas because then it would be the top vote on this list if only for their amazing fresh tortillas!
Taco Time is the place old people seem to love (my dad, for instance) but IT IS the tastiest of three..and also the most expensive. At least they have a frequent diner card. I also like Taco Bell for Seven Layer Burritos and Double Decker tacos for days when I want to gain 5 or 10 pounds. Del Taco makes me and my kids sick. The food lacks quality and desirability. So Love the Time, sometimes the Bell, bag the del.
3. Taco Time all the way!
First time commenter, but life-long Taco Beller from the country on the coast (Califonia). I served a mission in Utah and have have eaten at Taco Time. Oh, the days of freebie food at the Taco Time in Kemmerer, Wyoming! But, alas, I must be loyal to my mild sauce roots..Taco Bell all the way. Back in the day they even used to light the fire pit out in front of the Taco Bell's. Del Taco's hot sauce has a weird taste that makes me wish I was "making a run for the border!"
The taco time in my little town is an experience.. decorated to the hilt of insanity.. it is scrupulously clean, delish and the service is amazing.
I find myself there atleast once a week for something.. but not all times.. bells and tacos are alike so I don't begrudge anyone if they choose differently. :)
Taco Time - Crisp Bean Burrito, anybody? Pumpkin Empanada in the fall? Yes, please.
I haven't heard of a Taco Time. I'll have to vote for Taco Bell.
