This Photo Would Be So Much Better If I Had KM's Sexy Legs

This weekend I was most fortunate to meet a couple of charming new friends. After swapping blog addresses with one of them, Olivia, (a real working writer!) I came to find out that she shares the same anti-pants philosophy that I hold to be self-evident.

If you know what I mean, you will delight in her post.

Now you want to see KM's sexy legs don't cha?

Well here, knock yourself out.

I was so interested in KM's sexy legs, that I went to her blogsite and discovered that her sister nicole is married to my cousin Tyler. now if that isn't a blogging connection, then I don't know what is.

By the way, I love reading your interesting posts. Such a multi-faceted person...but I always suspected that of you!

I do have that skirt from Target. That reminds me, I haven't seen it for a while, I'd better go look for it.

I think your legs look dead sexy in that skirt!!! And thanks for calling me a real working writer; it makes me feel like maybe I should actually write something....

I do! I do! I have it in black. It is hands down my favorite summer skirt for kicking around. It's so light and airy. I am kicking myself that I didn't buy it in polka dot. I had it in my cart and put it back. Should have listened to that gut impulse to buy, buy, buy! : )

I wish I had that cute skirt from Target.

If I ever move to Utah, do you think I should, a) shop at Target more to try to fit in, or, b) shop at Target less to try not to have the same clothes as lots of other people, or c) shop at Target the same as I already do, because who cares?

I'm leaning toward c.

c jane...I need some help. Your apron week has got me wanting to make aprons! My current projects are aprons for my 8 year old niece.... the problem is I have no idea the dimensions for a child's apron. (I really don't want to purchase a pattern for such an easy project.) And she lives 16 hours away, so I can't just go measure her. Do you have any hints for the basic rectangular shaped child's apron.

I can't wait to see her in two weeks to give her her birthday gift! She LOVES to cook... wants to be a chef when she grows up... so I thought aprons would be so cool for her!

Thanks! Have a GREAT day!
Jane

I am watching the 10pm news... they just had a story about miners in Central Utah...I am praying for your fellow statesmen.
My grandfather lived about 15 minutes from the WV mining accident a couple years ago. My father has had relatives in the mines as long as he can remember, so my heart always breaks for the families of miners in accidents, knowing that at any time, it could be a relative.

I too honor the anti-pants philosophy - but mainly just for the summer. I just wish people would quit asking me "why are you so dressed up?" It's just a skirt - for the love!

The most adorable skirt! I'd run out tomorrow and find one if I didn't have the chub-rub!
I also want to vote on your chicken experience being one of my fav - along with the yelling at the old grouchy woman!!

cute skirt girl! how do you girls wear those heels all the time though? they do great things for the legs but don't they kill your back? a skirt and my beatle t-shirt and a pair of flip flops is just my style for letting the summer breezes flow.

i believe in multiple posts, sort of like i believe in multiple comments. so you go to it cjane! a girl's gotta say what a girl's gotta say, no matter how many times a day she's got to say it.

Pants are the devil, except for gauchos they are wonderful and easy to wear.

Cheers from one skirt sista to another!

almost bought this skirt this weekend, but they didn't have a good color in my size

Dear jane-jane our cjane is not a seamstress per say and can’t tell you sizes. Well, she could give you sizes and measurements but they might end up being something like, “Cut out fabric that is 10 feet by 2 inches” and we all know that wouldn’t work (or require a tremendous amount of draping.) If you go to a fabric store these days they have cute aprons with the pattern right on the fabric. You just cut and sew.

Or, just follow your own inspiration! You sound like you know what you’re doing! ½ yard rectangular, hemmed, with a contrast tie around.

Dear cjane, my question was not rhetorical. I really want you to answer, please.
