I'll See What I Can Do

Chup (this morning): Could you not have The Chief today?

Me: Why?

Chup: Kristy won everyone on the team free Chipotle burritos for lunch.

Me: You eat Chipotle once a week already.

Chup: I know, but today it is free.

Yes, but would Chup be willing to do this to get a free Chipotle burrito?

One time my husband won the 10 chipotle burrito thing, but we had just moved to a new city and didn't have 10 friends to bring. They make you get them all at once, so we took all 10 burritos home and froze them--dinners for 2 weeks. Moral of story: someone on the team can order Chup's burrito for him and you can freeze it for later. Like after you've had a baby and really need the free food.

the great thing about having a son is that you understand boys better.

My husband requested that I have our son on a particular day because then he would get out of going to some work meetings. I told him that would never happen, but little did I know that our son was so obedient! He was born on that very day my husband requested! Good Luck with your little one!

I just wanted to say that chipotle is a funny word. That's all.

I didn't know it was time already. I want to see a FULL body shot of you before the Chief arrives. I am sooooo excited for you. Good Luck! I will keep you in my thoughts. I can't wait to see him! To bad I'm not going to be in town for the 4th of July. Bummer. Well you'll have to post some photos for me. Love you!

It really is best to make sure you have your baby on a day when your husband can focus completely on you. Like, for example, with my second when my husband was completely engrossed in a soccer game WHILE I was getting my epidural.

I mean, it was a really important game, BUT STILL.

I think that he had a least a little decency not to ask to bring the burrito with him. I know a story of friend's husband who brought take out to the hospital and ate it in the corner of her delivery suite at a wheely table WHILE MY FRIEND WAS IN LABOR. FOR 26 HOURS. He said, "It really took a lot out of him. He was hungry, you know?!" Boys!

My husband is equally fond of Chipotle, and this sounds exactly like something he'd tell me!
