My Life Is So Much More Fascinating Now, Here's Why:

Are you or aren't you the type of person who likes to read about other people's weekends??? And do you also like a few extra question marks after a leading question??? (why not???)

Good.

Because this is a little photo essay about my weekend.

First of all, at the risk of losing our house insurance on Retro House Chup had to build a trusty handrail off of our back steps. He went the extra mile and painted it green. My question? Who uses handrails these days???
Second of all, I am sad to report that the coons in our chimney did not make it to see better days. Chup found three of them decomposing in our shoot. Luckily Md was here to help build a fishing pole made out of tubing (???) for which the squeakers were scooped out. On the plus side, there was bonding time betwixt two brothers.

Third of all, during the daring recovery Kentucky played with a rusted-out saw. Her words, not mine.Fourthly, Phun loves his new cousin, The Chief. (I know there are some friends out there who want to know The Chief's real and proper name. Chup and I decided not to publish it here, although if you fished around in the blog-o-sphere you could discover it, you sneaky vixen. Anyway, if you are everlastingly curious, e-mail me.)

Last of all, I still didn't get your answer.

Are you or aren't you the type of person who likes to read about other people's weekends???

Only when they involve raccoon corpses and rusty saws.

I LOVE reading about folks weekends. Then I wonder how I can make mine more fun!

I'm sorry, but getting coons outta chimneys is not really a creole wisdom activity, but holding newborn babies are : )

I am glad you are loving the vintage house. Your sis told me to find her house off of Center St, and I did- I love walking in Historic Provo- that is my kinda weekend!

your little chief is just about the cutest.
too bad about ricky and his family in your chimney. we've got an entire hive of hornets living in ours right now--wish their fate was similar.
and yes, i do enjoy reading other people's weekend activities. what else would i do with my time? clean my house?? wash the dishes??? i. think. not.

I figured out the mystery (thank you, sneaky vixen!) and am very fond of it.

Weekend recaps are just okay, but with your writing skills they come off much more entertaining.

The Chief is looking adorable in his little blue blanket!

I second la yen. The topper? Cousin bonding...not a better weekend activity around.

I love weekends! Mine, yours, weekends are most delicious.

And shoot, email me and tell me that kid's name! I have bequeathed clothing, and therefore I have earned it :).

BTW I think your back steps are lovely. Does that pot say "ME?" I think I need one! Do you walk down the steps and think "me, me, me??" In truth, that is what I think always.

Yes, I love to read about other's weekends...mostly because mine are boring.

Raccoon corpses definitely make for a non-boring weekend, so thanks for sharing.

I love multiple punctuation of any kind...!!!???

And that is one beautiful baby!!!!

What else is there to do on Monday mornings????

As for multiple punctuation, the more the merrier!!!!!

Based on the (cute little) Chief's photo, I am jealous that he has more hair than my Baby O. And that he seems to have escaped baby acne, something my bambino has been badly plagued with. But enough about my baby...this is YOUR blog!

Apologies. Cute railing, cute baby!!!

A few days ago, my SIL called me just after touching down in SLC. She was riding with her SIL (6 degrees of separation, anyone?) and had a question...

B: Hey, Lucky! (Enter VERY small talk here.)

me: Oh, you're in UT?

B: Yeah, and my SIL and I *need* an answer to something we thought you might know.

(B is waaay smarter than I am, so this is quite the compliment.)

B: So we've been watching CJane and scouring for The Chief's given name and haven't found it yet. Do you know what it is?

(She may be smarter, but I've got the connections ;)

P.S. I'm fine with multiple punctuation and enjoy hearing about other people's w/e, especially when it involves carcases :)

'coons are much better visitors than skunks. we had a lovely visit saturday night from a skunk and my house--inside and out is still radiating the aromatic pleasures it provided.

The chief is getting cuter and cuter.

I too, took the "Find The Chief's Name Challenge" and found it! What a great name! And what incredible pictures! I'm so happy for you guys.

I'll be the first to admit - I am a regular lurker and am completely curious about The Chief's true name and I can't find it. I have searched all sorts of combinations and I can't find it! Help please! The suspense is killing me!

I am dying to know the Chief's name! I tried to be a sneaky vixen, but I just couldn't reach my potential! (or was that my ADHD kicking in?) Anyhow - you should let me know somehow.

PS - I love know how people spent their weekends. Mine are usually boring and only involve work.

I went searching for this post after my weird pregnancy dream last night, staring you and your sister Nie Nie. I learned that according to my imagination, Chief's name is Moses. I have no idea how you all got in there, but that is what dreamland came up with. Have a fun day!
