Just kidding because I am not. But really, my big Of Good Report announcement is that I am going to officially add a Of Good Report feature to my blog. This way I get to cultivate my opinion (I totally respect and love my opinion) and keep readers a(chicken)breast of the best. In the future, I'd like to also report on these other products: the new i-phone, cookies and whatever you sell in your Etsy shop.
As a grande finale, I am listing a whole slew of items to add to my Of Good Report. In no particular order, here they are:
Shortbread chocolate chip cookies from Flour Girls and Dough Boys.
Fluzzy hair
Your bishop
A summer thundershower
Using the large button on my font sizer every time I write Of Good Report.
Helsinki, Finland
Remembering my pre-pregnancy shape
The Mary Murphy facebook group The Hot Tamale Train
BYU Creamery Cookies and Cream
Tom's of Maine toothpaste
A hard earned compliment
More Than A Feeling on Rock Band
Being in my thirties
A baby who sleeps through the night (I've got one . . . for now . . . wood, knocking)
Babies, in general
But enough about me, now is the time that I get to hear from you. What is Of Good Report in your life?
(psst that is your cue to start commenting . . . )

Here's my Of Good Report...
To be honest, with the week I had this was kind of hard to find something happy. Thanks for making me think of happier things.
1. 70-degree weather all week.
2. My baby learned how to giggle and does it often.
3. Large tubs of yogurt.
4. The first good run I've had since giving birth.
5. My word verification is ccjn--how cool is that.
Things of good report in my life:
1. Going on 7-day cruise in October
2. A bag of M&M's in my cupboard
3. The tickets I have to see Dark Knight on the IMAX screen this weekend
4. My awesome friends who make life so much fun and make me feel loved when I'm away from my family
Yay! I've been getting ready for this all week:
baby giggles (a crazy lady at the grocery store told me our bodies respond to baby giggles the same way they do to crack)
zucchini bread (I just made my 5th batch in as many weeks. I'm eating vegetables!)
cute shoes that don't eat your feet (I own two pairs.)
Amelie (oh to be French! With cute hair! And a Vespa!)
cooking blogs (without which I would not have known that it is acceptable to put a blackberry sauce on rosemary chicken.)
amen!
1. my husband did the dishes tonight
2. dreaming about owning my very-own retro house, and driving around town this morning looking for it
3. monsoon season is here in AZ, so it always smells like fresh mountain rain
4. first paycheck post grad school comes TOMORROW!!!!
Thanks, I needed that :)
I could really go on for a bit here but lets just list a few important ones:
• Archer Farm's Organic Pomegranate Fruit Leathers
• STELLA by Stella McCartney Perfume
• Wolfgang Puck's Frozen Pizzas
• Fall is just around the corner (meaning school supplies, jackets, jeans and soups)
In no particular order:
1. Chocolate
2. Swimming
3. A long awaited baby kicking me from inside... such a joy!

4. The ginormous bag of choc. chips in my freezer for baking and snitching
5. Living 15 min. from my mom
I had to wait for my news until Wednesday, and it's good! My husband passed the NCLEX (nursing license exam)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One year of HARD HARD work in nursing school, and he's now officially a nurse and he starts working on Monday. I couldn't me more proud of him. I love this idea CJane, thank you!
Honestly, I have had an awesome week with my pack at cub scout day camp. And yes I know that may sound crazy.
This week has also been crazy spiritual...Completely overwhelming answers to prayers at Temple. Continual confirmation from scriptures and such all week. Its always a good thing when its obvious your Heavenly Father is there for you! Especially when life throws you for a loop.
I have more than can be listed here! My Top 5 will have to do...
1. sharing dinner with some fun ladies I go to church with.
2. having a mostly obedient 2 year-old.
3. reading a good book
4. preparing for a coming 2 week vacation.

I really liked this little feature...
1. The Sisters Sherwin
(Hi Sue!)
2. Greek yogurt with fruit
3. Haagen-Daz Fleur de Sel Caramel
which is divine, so divine that it regularly sells out. If you even find a pint, you'd better buy it, because it won't stay on the shelf for long. Other people know the secret, now you do too.
4. Babies learning to talk, hesitantly repeating the words you say.
5. Strawberry pink toenails.
1. Access to a swimming pool in July
2. Singing the Who's "My Generation" at the top of my lungs, even though it's much too late to "...die before I get old."
3. C.Jane hearts my art and has proclaimed it to the blog-reading public.
Summer school! Not the remedial variety! We have it here in CA for everybody and the time spent apart is helping us have more fun when we are together.
Weather in the 80's versus the 100+ we had a week ago
Kisses on the mouth from my two year old
Starting to run again for the first time since college (and that was a really long time ago!)

3. Picking raspberries with my kids. And laughing when my 6 year old said he needed to take a break...after 5 minutes.

I'm seriously intrigued--why do you and Compulsive Writer BOTH include Helsinki as part of your lists?!
I mean, it's TOTALLY part of mine (I get to go soon! Can you SEE me doing the Snoopy happy dance? Haven't been there in--litearally--decades! Talk about Good Report-worthy). Now I'm insanely curious as to what YOUR connection is to the land of the midnight sun.
Aside from Fazer chocolate, of course. That's a given.
Annette, my brother went to Finland on his mission and I was able to go fetch him (with my parents and grandmother). Last night as I was making my list I remembered how beautiful Helsinki was in the August glow. It is a magical place and I'd like to go back.
As for CW, her husband went on a mission there and they both went back for the temple dedication. By all accounts, they had a lovely time too.
Why are you going?
my mission call will {hopefully} arrive tomorrow!
the sun is peaking through the three day alaska rain clouds :)
I just bought the cutest dress
You of course Cjane! This topic really made me think, so I had to do my own little post. You can read it if you want...androsfam.blogspot.com. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh, and I've been meaning to say...my brother was your dad's intern at the legislature this past winter. He had nothing but glowing things to say about your dad and your lovely family. I was jealous he got to meet some of you. :)
Here's my "Of Good Report"
My mom is dying of cancer. That's not the good part. The good part is she feels well enough to take one final trip to Yellowstone with my dad. It is their most favorite place in the world. Honestly, this brings me more joy than even the birth of my children. Okay, maybe it's a close second. But if you want to read all about her struggles with Pancreatic Cancer, and how our family is trying to focus on the small miracles that trials send our way, only in a light-hearted, slightly perverted, super entertaining way, check out her blog at www.paulanoorda.blogspot.com

Holy hundred and fifty comments... I just have to 2nd your good report of the shortbread chocolate chip cookie from Flour Girls and Dough Boys. It's my new favorite.
CJane, I lived in Finland for three years when my parents presided over the mission there (mid-80s).
I also visited for the summer when I was really little. Mom's a Finn by birth. Dad served there on his mission.
Currently they're temple president and matron, so we're visiting not only see them but the temple (finally!) and show my hubby around all my old stomping grounds that I haven't seen since I was 13. I hope to catch up with my one friend I'm still in touch with from our elementary school days.
It'll be like going home; can't wait! It won't be quite as pretty as going during the Juhannus (midsummer night)
celebrations, but I'm not complaining--it also won't be in the dead of the freezing cold, DARK winter.
1. Naps
2. Simple meals (hello uncooked tortillas!)
3. Low key summer activities.
4. A baby wiggling inside me.
