Two weeks ago I had a dream. In this dream I was standing in front of a cradle. My parents were to the side of the cradle smiling. Inside was a baby perfectly dressed in pink lace. The baby's face was somewhat scarred, slightly red but very beautiful.
The baby was my sister Stephanie.
And we cried because we loved her so much.
This is like our Stephanie now. Being slowly brought out of a two-month coma means that she will walk the line of cognizance and sleep. Like a newborn who sporadically slumbers and wakes. Moves and cries. Sleeps and smiles. Gradually she will return to her adulthood without the haze she has now. There is no telling when she will be fully alert for good, or conscious of her situation. We will allow her all the time in the world.
All of her limbs are intact and healing. The skin grafts are taking and the skin on her facial area is said to look remarkable. She can open her eyes, she responds to familiar voices and Jesse says she even laughed at him the other day. (He's not even that funny.) She can breathe on her own and does so on a daily basis. Nothing is alarming to the medical staff. All vital organs are functioning. There is no loss of bodily operations. In no time she will be sitting up on her own and possibly talking in the next week.
The fact that she has made it this far is a testament to how well her body has fought. How positive energy from around the world is felt by one person. How God answers prayers.
Oh He answers.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 306 Newer› Newest»What fantastic news. Her strength continually amazes me.
You are all amazing. This story will continue to play out for years, into eternity. Cheers for Stephanie.
She will always be Stephanie. Loved by many. Beautiful always.
remarkable and amazing! The power of the priesthood, the power of the human spirit, and the power of our Heavenly Father, all wrapped up in one wonderful Nielson package.
Good luck on Saturday.
xoxoxo
As one who has worked with individuals who survived near death and after death experiences, I can tell you what an amazing journey you are on. You already appreciate the little achievements every day for the amazing accomplishments they are. I'm so happy to hear that Nie is moving forward. My prayers are continually with you and your family.
Praise God for this wonderful news. It is only by his grace and love and healing power that she has recovered so well!!! What a wonderful family sh has to support her in this time of restarting her life
I have been following your blog daily for a while now and all I can say is that I admire you. I admire your faith, love, devotion, strength, your positive attitude. Thank you for your inspiration.
Wonderful news regarding Stephanie's recovery. May the Lord continue to bless your family. Best of luck this weekend.
Like many people, I found out about Nie & Christian through the beauty of blogging connections. I've been thinking of all of you and sending lots of love & light your way. So happy to read of the constant progression of healing. She's going to be so proud to be a part of her own family when she realizes what you have all done. Amazing.
Sincerely,
Jules
House of Jules
Thank you, thank you. We're rooting for you all! My 5 daughters are in on this now and we are praying for you (collectively).
What fantastic news. The concert could not have come at a better time. She will sure feel so much love and warmth tomorrow evening, especially with so many of her family and loved ones near. God bless to all of you!
That's such great news. Your blog is the first update I look for in my Google reader as my thoughts are with her. I'm glad the kids will get to see Christian, too. I'm constantly amazed at how resilient they seem, and how lovely it is that your family is pulling together.
This makes me happy!
what a blessing and a miracle. he does answer prayers. and so many have been praying for this particular miracle.
"Have miracles ceased? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; neither have angels ceased to minister unto the children of men."
I love that scripture and thought it was appropriate to post here.
Such great news. Thank you for sharing how she is healing. I hope you will all know, her story isn't fifteen minutes of fame. She is truly impacting people's lives. None of these trials will be forgotten anytime soon. Thank you for helping us all to keep life in perspective, and to be thankful for each day. I will pray that your weekend fills you with even more love for each other as a family.
It is great to hear of Stephanie's progress and her strength. It is truly a testament to the powers of love and prayer. May she wake to feel the love of the people from around the world all rooting for her. Sweet dreams Nie Nie.
Check out my blog for a special tribute in her honor.

What WONDERFUL news. Stephanie will continue to be SO beautiful. It's who she is.
Many family discussions are of your sweet family. We can't begin to feel what your family is feeling..but the joy we felt tonight of the news of Christian returning home and Nie Nie slowly coming awake was way beyond description....thank you for sharing your life and your experiences with us!! Your family is constantly on our minds and in our prayers!!
What a powerful dream. So happy to hear that Steph's waking up. She's done an amazing job surviving. You all have.
Hugs all around,
Heather in CA
WONDERFUL NEWS! So happy for her family. Baby steps....baby steps.
That is so awesome to hear!! I am SO glad to hear that everything looks well. God truly answers prayer. And we will still be praying. Good luck tomorrow!
courtney, thank you for a beautifully descriptive, poignant, loving and very timely update on stephanie. i'm blessed to be on this journey with you albeit by distance. this tragedy has created an amazing community - - we are witnessing miraculous things. love and prayers from me and my kids.
Wishing you a wonderful and uplifting weekend. I am overjoyed for you all that Nie is doing so well, and that Mr. Nielson will be able to see the children and continue his healing process as well. SO wish I could see the marveouls concert and the girls singing!! My prayers continue to be with you all.
As amazing as Stephanie's story has been so far, I know she's going to continue to amaze us all with her continued strength and determination to overcome. I've never met her personally, but I've felt her strength and I know that with Heavenly Father's help she can move mountains (and make amazing chocolate cakes :) again someday. My thoughts and prayers are with you, as always :). Thanks for sharing another touching and beautiful story Courtney.
Amazing news! Such an encouraging update! I'm so anxiously excited for your reunion with her this weekend.
you don't know me, i don't know you, i know kelly mccaleb, and that is how i linked onto stephanie's blog about 5 months ago. i've kept silent until now, but i have been so moved that i had to say something this time. your family astounds me, your faith in our Lord is amazing. stephanie is so loved by all those who know her personally and by so many more who only know her through her blog. i will personally be one of those people who will continue to pray for her and christian, the kids, and your family.
I was just doing the dinner dishes and I was thinking about posting to your blog for the very first time because last night -- after reading that you would be speaking WITH Stephanie this weekend, I went to bed and I said a prayer for your family. Then I dreamed all night long about the wonderful reunion you would have. It was very vivid and everlasting.
I wish you safe travels and much love as you reconnect with your precious one.
Marilyn
I hope you have a wonderful, beautiful, memorable weekend. BE brave...it will be tough...I'm sure, but our prayers are with you.
just amazing. i love reading the updates and seeing how the Lord works...
Totally crying.
Thank you for being so candid with us. I am always more afraid of the unknown (like what is lingering in the dark) than I should be. Miracles do happen and she is a such a miracle. What a blessing for her and her family to continue their fairytale. Can't wait to see you all tomorrow! :) I'll be one of many smiling through our tears.
She may look different, but she's still the same inside, and will look at you through the same eyes she always has.
Oh man, I think I sound creepy. I really meant it to be nice. I even pre-thought out that comment.
Sad.
But happy for you.
That's all that matters, right?
I think it's a sign that my word verification is :
"Donse"
That's very close to dense.
Coincidence?
I think not.
Not after my comment.
*sigh*
I am so glad to hear this news! He truly does hear and answer prayers. Thank you for all you are doing for your sister and her family. Thank you for the inspiration you give to everyone, just by sharing this story.
This is awesome news, just awesome!
Thank you sooo much for this update! What happy news and (we can all use more of that!)
My life has been changed by reading c jane and nie nie...literally. I am tasting every morsel of life more than I ever had. Enjoying textures, sights, and sounds (dirty floors on my feet, watching my kids, and the laughter & squables) more than every before. I am so sad for the tragedy that occurred- but I will take with gratitude the impact it has had on my little family of 6.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Wonderful..Brought tears to my eyes!
He does answer.
Thank you for your remarkable eloquence. You are a gift. I can only imagine how anxious Stephanie is to hug her family...her big sister. I'm so glad it's closer to happening.
Every time I read your updates I tear up! It's not because I'm sad, it's the spirit is overpowering and I feel the goodness of God and all of those who have prayed for your family. I also feel your family's love and it's just too much to take in without an emotional downpour! I'm just so thankful for the power of prayer. I'm so happy she's healing! I hope you have a wonderful time in AZ!
I will continue to pray!

This blog is truly an inspiration... this has easily been one of the worst years of my life (at the rate it's going number one is almost certain) ... then I come and visit you here, and read about Nie and her valiant effort in recovering and I just relize that even the tough times are precious...
So thank you Nie for reminding us all how valuable each day is and again just how precious life really is...

I feel like we've landed on the moon..."One small step for man, one giant leap for (NieNie)".
I so appreciate your candid description of her current state. Knowing how she is helps me adjust...LOL.
I will be right here...reading your blog, waiting and praying for Stephanie's first step, first meal, first 'recognition', first time with the kids...all the new 'firsts' she has coming in her life.
Courney, thank you SO much for being the brave and strong sister you are and sharing your heart and energy with us. There IS a reason for all of this!

i always believed in miracles...but to share yours only strengthens and renews that belief. i'm blowing kisses your way. xox
The resiliency of the human spirit never ceases to amaze me! With Heavenly Father's help nothing is impossible. Your family is a testament to that!!
This is one of the best mornings! For the first time I did not cry reading your blog. I feel so peaceful reading the update for Stephanie. This is some of the news I have waited to read, prayering feverently it would come true, trying to be so patient with your family these last several weeks.
I am so comforted by the power of God and the amazing prayers he is answering for Stephanie and both families.
I will continue to pray for everything you need to get you through today, as well as your entire family. I am praying for comfort and peace for Stephanie as she starts to wake up. I hope she is not scared or frightened, that she continues to feel our prayers and best wishes.
Blessings and love for a wonderful Saturday~I only wish I could be at the concert too!

Oh my goodness! Thank you for this. I am so happy for her and your family.
I just started following your blog and I haven't completely caught up but I so admire all of you.
What sweet News, I am so touched by your story, I know I have said it every time I have replied to a post, but it is amazing the love that has grown from your family, I am so much more grateful for all I have, and I thank you for sharing your family. May Heavenly Father continue to bless you all.
Amen!
Continuing to pray for all of you in Arkansas ~ for peace, strength, courage, and grace
What wonderful news! Hurray for you and your family. Send her hugs and kisses from the world!!!!
Seriously, it's like you just described a miracle. I'm so happy for your sister. It sounds like she will be with all of you at home sooner, rather than later :)
Such a moving and eloquent tribute. May God continue to bless you all! Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
I'm so grateful!
Today I feel like we're having a Nie day, my friend and I. Toting our 7 kids(total) around town, including stops at the Mesa Temple for a sealing and Cafe Rio for lunch.
Great news. Stephanie's recovery is also a testament of her preparedness. The family motto they had interstingly chosen for the year 2008. Although no one can fully prepare for an unforseeable tragedy such as this, she was prepared! She prepared physically as she ate healthy and exercised making her body as healthy as it needed to be for this ordeal. She was preparing emotionally and even financially as she cultivated and nourished so many relationships (even on the web) that now translates iin prayers and donations on her behalf. She was preparing spiritually as she lived the gospel of Jesus Christ on a daily basis and her faith will now lead her along this road of recovery.
TEARS!
That is such wonderful news. I hope Claire will get to talk to her Mom soon. I know you said she wanted to by Halloween.
This is my first post, but I have been lurking and praying. You get so many comments my little one wouldn't seem to make a difference. But this morning I'm buoyed in my own trials by Christian and Stephanie's triumphs. It is amazing to read that Christian is leaving the rehab hospital and that Stephanie is slowly rejoining the regularly scheduled program. Hooray! I'll pray that her re-entry isn't too emotionally painful.
so wonderful! thank you for sharing.
now let's pray for jennifer hudson. she really needs our prayers.
This is a very sweet post. I'm sure she's missed you all as much as you've missed her.

heaven answers prayers...
What wonderful news. It is truly remarkable how she has responded to everything. Just another way she can prove what a strong person she is.
Thank you again Courtney for your posts. You uplift us all with your honestly, love and faith. I am beyond happy that Stephanie is waking from her slumber and to hear that she laughed...well that is just perfect!!!!

I love to read your Blog and hear about your love for your family. I have been thinking and praying for all of you a lot.
As in Alma 34: 27..."Yea, and when you do not cry unto the Lord, let your heart be full, drawn out in prayer unto him continually for your welfare and also for the welfare of those who are around you."
I have been with a prayer in my heart lately. With that, even though I do not know you, I woke this morning remembering a dream I had last night about all of you. Every thing was happy, joyful and lovely. I believe that it is because I have thought and prayed for you so much. I feel that I know you all. You are all amazing and your faith strengthens me and my faith.
Have a Blessed Day!
He sure does. Love to you and Steph!
I am sure today will be filled with every emotion possible.
I hope it's a perfect day.
I'm SO happy to hear all of this positive news. I'll keep praying, for more healing, and to thank Him for all he's done so far.
AMEN!!!!!!!!
I am so happy to hear that Stephanie is doing so fabulous!!! She is an inspiration to all.
so very glad to have read this news update! I'm constantly checking in to see if there are updates.
May your strength carry you on to a full recovery, sweet Stephanie
So good to hear! I'm praying for your family - especially Stephanie and Christian and their little family. I hope the concert goes wonderfully well and that seeing your sister awake will be a special treat for you, Courtney!
Amazing!!!!
The other day, though I'm not sure how, I stumbled across your Segulla Hourglass post from March:
http://segullah.org/cjane-speaks/the-hourglass-theory/
First of all, I think that post changed my life, thanks for that. Also, do you ever think that your hourglass theory applies to Stephanie's current state? Do you think your experience in March has helped you understand your experiences now?
Yeah! What wonderful, happy news! God hears us, everday, as we pray for her.
Stephanie, Christian, the Neilson's, the Clark's and all the kids are in my prayers everyday.
They are the most beautiful and charming glimmers of hope.
What fantastic news! Stephanie is so amazing, she knows that she has a lot to live for so she will fight hard! You are all a insperiation, Thank you for sharing this story with all of us!
so amazing. God truly is a God of miracles. good luck on saturday, it will be such a wonderful reunion!
My family continues to pray for you all. Much love and thanks for the impact you've all had on my family. Go Nie! You can do it!
I will be thinking about you all, and praying for you even more than usual today.
I wish I could be at the concert. I hope Stephanie feels all our love and prayers as she wakes back up to her world.
Special prayers for brave Claire and Jane as they take the stage tonight!
: )
Praying!
Amelia
Unbelievable! Your love for Stephanie is really beautiful! the fact that she can laugh-about anything-shows what a strong person she is-she will be fine,I can see that clearly. Enjoy your visit and the concert!
Thank you for sharing all the good news. You are an amazing writer and sister.
Truly a miracle.
Amazing news! Way to go Stephanie! I continue to hold good thoughts for her and your family.
Yes he does.
amen and amen.
so thankful for their continued healing.
"Praise God from whom all blessings flow - praise Him all creatures here below - praise Him above ye heavenly host - praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."
This old song of praise leaped into my heart when I read this post. It is my hearts song of praise and thanksgiving to God for His healing power!
As a former burn nurse (in pediatrics, but same principles) I offer the following: Very true is the post where you wrote about not measuring progress in terms of before/after but in terms of from the crash to now. Most burn survivors go through some emotional hard times and need to be reminded of how far they have come. I have no doubt that Stephanie has a very, very strong support system which is going to help her through the next months and years. Focus on the positive and allow her to go through the grief process when she needs it. I know you know that. I know the nurses helping her know that. You have a remarkable family and the power of the Priesthood and all the prayers surrounding her.
Thank you for sharing updates with all of us. We've read her blog and felt her loving spirit and now we get to love her through your eyes, too.
like many people praying for your family, i don't know you. but i read your site every day.
each of you are on my mind a lot. i am amazed by everything about this situation.
praying for your big day today!
Such amazing news! Team Nie Nie! What a blessing that she's healing so quickly. Stay strong, C.
What amazing and relieving news. Your analogy fits perfectly. I wish you the best of luck this weekend. Your families never cease to amaze me with your intelligence, love, creativity, humor, faith, and humility. Thank you for your examples. You have changed my life for the better.
My heart is so happy to hear this wonderful news!!! Oh, the Lord is sweet and gracious.
Like many, I don't know the Nielsons or your family personally, but Stephanie, Christian, and your whole family have been in my prayers since August and will continue to be.
Thank you for sharing your sister's progress with us. And thank you to all your family for being such a true example of charity (I mean this as Christ-like love) and so much more.
i am so happy to hear the great news! i will keep the prayers coming. have a great weekend!
I am only comment 116, but I wanted to say that Stephanie and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers today....
Yes. He answers. It has been amazing to watch this miracle unfold through the strength of Stephanie, Christian, your family...and all those from around the world who have turned to the Lord in Stephanie and Christian's behalf. What a beautiful miracle.
I have been waiting tenderly for the update. I pray you are all blessed by this weekend and your time together. We are praying for you here in Seattle.
I am humbled by Nie's strength of spirit, by your strength of character, by the incredible support of the blogging world and last, but not least, by
His unending grace. Bless you all as you continue your journey.
This is amazing! I will be saying an extra prayer today thanking him for Nie's progress! We think of you all the time.... tell her the blogging world loves her!
that is amazing, i am so happy for you and your family. and so proud of the strength you and everyone else has shown. and so proud of us bloggers who have been praying so hard. it really is amazing. i'm a pretty cynical person, but i can't deny that something very powerful has helped your sister.
"positive energy from around the world" is so very true! I have been following your blog here in Austria, at the heart of Europe, and I am so very amazed by you and your family!
I am sending lots of this 'good energy' (let's just call it LOVE)and many more prayers to you, for NieNie's and Christian's recovery and your whole beautiful family!
Nicole from Katzelsdorf
An ongoing miracle, moment after moment. The emotions never stop flowing, and neither do the grateful, hopeful prayers. Have a beautiful weekend with your baby sister.
P.S. Thank you for sharing that very sacred, sweet dream.
also, a little while ago i had a dream about nie nie and her love (as i'm sure many of us have). they were sitting by a fire (christmas time maybe??), drinking herb tea and laughing and laughing. i woke up with a smile, as i hope stephanie does too
Wow. What an amazing recovery our Nie has made and will continue to make.
I went to elementary school with a girl who was badly burned in a house fire at age 5. She always bore the signs of it on her body, but that body healed and became a strong and beautiful dancer.
I wish the same for Stephanie.
Congratulations! I wish the best for you and your family.
I love your blog and I am inspired by it daily.
Our hopes and prayers are with you.
What wonderful news!!! Lots of things packed into one week-end, and lots of love and happy thoughts are being sent your way.
Good luck!! You are amazing, you and your beautiful family!!
Much love.
incredible.
I continue to be in awe of your strength, love and devotion. Unbelievably inspiring. While of course we all wait for updates on Stephanie and Christian, if you chose to never post again I believe you would never leave our collective thoughts and prayers. We are all in it for the long haul with you. One would think that recent pictures of you would reveal a woman wracked with pain and exhausted beyond belief. You've never looked more beautiful...
All I can say is karma! Your sister is getting what she deserves...her body, health and beauty back for all the good that she has done for a LOT of people! What a wonderful world!
You know, my favorite thing about Stephanie is that she is incredibly beautiful on the inside. I love her soul...that is what is going to get her through this.
She had a penchant for the important things in life before the accident, afterwards I'm betting that gift will be two-fold.
How is Christian doing?
I am so glad to hear that she is doing so well.
Thanks SO much for the update, it is so good to hear that she is making such good progress. We will all be thinking of you and your family this weekend. It will be emotional forsure. Our prayers include your family daily. My girls have really gotten quite attached to Claire and Jane even though it may only be through pictures. Their mother really captured their personalities well. Good luck at the concert, dont forget to hug Chup!!
Go Stephanie!
Thank you. That was beautiful.
This is just amazing. God is love. You are and your family are loved and such beautiful examples of his love. Thank you for this story of such hope, faith, and love. We will continue you to pray. Thank you so much.
oh happy day...much love to your whole family...god gives us miracles and what a sad day for those who don't recognize his hand in our lives...we are so fortunate to have the gospel in our lives.
That is such great news. My heart has been touched by your amazing family. Thank you for letting us all share this story with you!
Her courage, strength and will are so remarkable to me. Every day you write, every day I listen and am empowered to do better...be better! Hugs!
What wonderful news!!! I'm so happy she is getting better, stronger each day. I think of each and every one of you, often.
I was just introduced to Stehanie's blog and your blog the other day and I have been so amazed with your positive outlook and the beautiful blogs written by Stephanie and those who love her. I know it will be a long, hard road ahead for everyone but all your family and friends will definitely help make the journey a little easier. I have been thinking of all of you often.
this makes me cry. in a good way
Such wonderful news! This weekend is going to be so amazing for your entire family. Enjoy!
Happy Birthday to Claire!
:)
How amazing! She is such a strong person. What lucky children.
Every time I visit your blog and read the comments of other readers, this scripture from D&C (Doctrine and Covenants) 88:40 comes to my mind:
"For intelligence cleaveth unto intelligence, wisdom receiveth wisdom, truth embraceth truth, virture loveth virtue, light cleaveth unto light, mercy hath compassion on mercy and claimeth her own..."
Truly the intelligence and wisdom and virtue and light and mercy and LOVE of NieNie and her entire family, Clarks and Nielsens, have been answered by thousands with intelligence, wisdom, virtue, light, mercy, and love of their own... how truly incredible it is to see, to a tiny extent, the ripples of this tragedy-turned-to-miracle rippling out over the world.
That is such fantastic news. Thank you so much for updating.
That is sooo.... amazing, she is such a strong person. I'm so excited for them! Progress is great!! Good luck!!
So, here I am crying once again reading your post. Still praying for your family and especially for Nie.
this is oh so happy news!! it has taken my dreary day here in philly and turned it right side up again. thank you for giving this to me. i think of stephanie everyday. i have been a follower (of you & nie) for nearly 1.5 years now & i can't imagine life without her- in the good times and in these critical moments. you and nie together are teaching us to hope and to have faith and mostly the beauty of life. thank you.
xoxo
How amazing are you and your family? I continue to be inspired by your elegant writing and poise. I look so forward to hearing about your incredibly busy weekend. how your visit with Stephanie goes and your concert in her and Christians honor. I can't wait. So as I go tuck my children in to bed this evening I will think of you and the girls and how I wish I could have a silhoutte cookie or 2. I live in MI and we are a few hrs behind you. So when I ask my kids how their day was and what the best part of it was I will think of you and how your day was and what the best part of your day was. I hope that you have a great visit with all your family and Nielson family. I just know that God has big plans for Stephanie and Christian. They, as are you are truly inspiring and you can only imagine how much your lives have changed ours.
One last thought...last night I had the chance to go out with girlfriends, I didn't so that I could go to dinner and shopping with my husband and 2 boys (ages 8 & 12) shopping isn't their thing usually. Tonight I am passing on a night out with some other friends so that I can snuggle and lay with my boys tonight. Because I think that yoiu never know when that can be taken away and you don't have that opportunity. I think how much Claire and Jane would give to be snuggled or shall I say mugged by their mom tonight. I know their time is coming. So for Claire and Jane I will mug by boys tonight instead of share some girls time with my friends. Because you just never know when that can be taken away from you.I will think of the girls and Stephanie. I love by boys and my hot husband. And I love hearing your updates. Bits and pieces of your lives. I love that your sharing it with all of us. Please don't ever think about not writing or posting. All of us throughout the world would not know what to do without living vicarisly through your lives. We love being part of it.
Thanks for all you've done.
Enjoy your weekend.
I like many others can't wait to hear about it.
Love and prayers from Michigan
What an answer to prayer! I'll keep praying for her recovery and the families reconciliation!
Thank you so very much, Courtney for taking the time to update us on Stephanie's progress! It is truly an honor to be able to share in this miracle that has forever changed lives!
My spirit danced when I read your update on Nie. You have explained it so very well for those of us who aren't familiar with what she may be facing coming out of a long sleep and being aware once again of her surroundings.
You rock, Courtney! As does your precious family! Much love and continued prayer for all of you. You CAN do this, beautiful Nie! You've come so far already and I KNOW you will continue to make progress so you can go back to the life that you love! Hugs and prayers, Lori
Oh God bless. I feel like I just breathed a sigh of relief. My prayers are with you.
I just want to cry tears of joy, because God DOES answer our prays, and our faith is more powerful than we could ever begin to understand. He is blessing the lives of Stephanie and Christian, but also all of her loved ones who pray for her, believe in her, and send out well wishes for recovery. Countless miracles are taking place, and will continue for years and years to come. I am sure of it.
Praise God!!!! HE is amazing!
I hope the children get to sleep in their own house while they are there. What a wonderful weekend for three of them...
I love you reading the story of C&S. It is so imspiring to me and I wished I could do more to help. The strength and faith your family has is incredible, and I am glad we all get to share the journey with you. Cheers to Stephanie. We will contiue to pray for her!
I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear this news. All of us collectively let out a sigh of relief that things are going well.
Praise God from whom all blessing flow! This news has made my day.
Yes, many answered prayers. Im humbled to be a part of it.
Hugs
Tears in my eyes as I read this. May God continue to be with you and your family.
God Bless you all... I know this is such an emotional day for you (aren't they all) so you are in every thought and prayer this day. I mean it... every single one!
Reading this gives me such an overwhelming feeling of something that I can't even begin to put my finger on, but I have to say that your sister and family are always in my thoughts. Sometimes when I'm doing nothing I will think of NieNie. Quite remarkable, I would say, that someone has the ability to touch another human without even knowing. Life altering.
It is so good to hear that she is doing well. Having this happen to them has made me really sit back lately and ponder on all the wonderful experiences that I had on my mission and the example that Christian was to me while in the MTC and there in Kentucky. Tell Christian and Stephanie both that they are still in our prayers and that we hope everything continues to be well and speedy for their healing process. They both are such great people and I know the Lord is blessing them leaps and bounds. Thanks for all the updates! Take care and may the Lord bless all of you that have been angels for them taking care of children etc. during this whole process. I don't know you personally but I know you are one special family. Much Love.
:::sniff::: God Bless.
Stephanie's story keeps me so grounded right now. I feel like my prayers are the least I can offer for the lesson she's teaching us all.
oh I am in tears. This is news we have all hoped for. This is just such a testiment to prayer and family and the power of god. She has such a story to tell.
Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
Crying like a baby! Maybe it's cause I am pregnant. But, mostly because of the joy I feel for your family! What a fighter and inspiration Stephanie is! What a testament to prayer, love and faith!
Beautiful post! She is an amazing lady! I look forward to reading about her recovery!
eee! i am so excited thinking that at this VERY moment, you could be with Nie Nie and Christian. or maybe getting ready for the concert. or enjoying some downtime with the Chief as he nurses. this whole thing seems so far away from me, so unreal at times, so knowing that right now you could be holding Stephanie's hand or hanging out with her in-laws is really blowing my mind. blessing and love to everyone!
i'm praying and thinking about you and your family!
Miracles happen.
May your family, especially the children, witness many of them as Stephanie recovers.
i cry every time i come to your blog. every dang time.
thank you for telling this story. you've buoyed my faith time and again.
my prayers are with you.
Wonderful!
