Hi Courtney, My husband and I and my parents helped work a booth at the blissfest Sat. and I posted some pictures of it on my blog! It turned out so great. Everybody there was so happy to help and full of energy.(Even though it was so DANG hot)!! We were so glad to be able to help and will continue to do what is needed! Take a look at these pics! You can take whatever you want!(if any??)Good luck with everything Sat. It is going to be an emotional day for sure! You are gonna be WORN out!! Have fun! Maybe we will see you at the concert!! hollywebster.blogspot.com
I wish so badly I could make this!!! You have no idea!! Please know that you are all in my prayers, have a VERY safe trip. Will you let us know ANYWHERE or ANY WAY that we can get the Nie Nie shirts.
I wish I could join you. Please post pics and describe everything, in detail, when you are able! What a gift, to see Stephanie awake again. What joy for the children, to see (& "mug on") their daddy in their grandparents' home. God bless all of you as you prepare, travel and visit together.
Jane, I will be there is spirit with all of you. Please give lots of details so we can all share in this special event. I'll keep your family in my prayers for Saturday, when your "Sleeping Beauty" wakes up. -Jenn in Colorado
Unfortunately attending is not an option for me :( ..... but oh in my heart, I will be there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so anxious to see the pics and read your updates.
I really wish I could join you all, but I live in Nova Scotia Canada, so I won't be able to be there in person, but I will be there in spirit! Have a great time!
Good luck this weekend, I cant believe all that you are doing. I am sure you will look back and think I made it through that crazy time and I did it wonderfully.
Good luck and drive safe. I mentioned your blog on my new blog (myrestlessmindandrandomthoughts.blogspot.com) hope thats ok. You guys are so lucky to have such a wonderful family and support system. I wish you all the very best in recovery and the future!
As I have been reading through your loved sis's blog...I sat there laughing and smiling at the one named 'Designated' from November 2005. Why? My sweet hubby is too the designted scooper-utensil-napkin grabbin-drink filler-getter. It's good to know we're normal. Well maybe it's not normal -- but we have the best darn men around. As I sit there with my six little ones or off to find the perfect booth--my hubby is scoopn'-grabbin'-fillin'-gettin'. May Stephanie's knight in shinning armor be takin' care of his woman again SOON. Wendy for Port Hueneme, California.
I would love to come if I could, but I live in Sweden, so that's a bit far.. This story has touched my heart like no other. Take care and I wish you all the best!
I wish, I wish, I wish.... but thinking of you, drive safe and post soon. We are all with you in spirit! Can't wait to hear the Claire and Jane reviews singing with Mindy! :)
why don't you put something up for people who want to donate $15.00 for the ticket, but can't attend because they are out of state -- i think many people would contribute.
here's what i think: specifics about stephanie's condition aren't going to be told to any of us before stephanie herself knows what's going on. doesn't that only seem fair? and then i think the family is going to take time to process everything and focus on stephanie and helping her deal and starting her recovery before they begin speaking about details and confirming or disavowing rumors (who the heck is starting rumors??).
i know we all feel that we were close friends with steph through her blog, but we have to remember that she still had a *private* side to her life, that not all of her life was on the blog, and likewise, now, not all of her private life is going to be on courtney's blog.
yes, the updates aren't terribly specific and we would love to know more, but i think we owe it to the family to let them tell us what they feel they can tell us. i just know it would bother me if it was my sister and people were asking me about this part of her body and that part of her body, etc., etc.
I live in Mesa and I am going to the concet and I CANNOT wait!! I am going with my Mom, my 2 sisters, and 2 of my cousins! We are so excited. I love reading about all of your family. You make me laugh and cry, Topher makes me laugh, and Nie makes me want to be the best that I can be. Thank you for letting me into your world.
Do you think there will be any way for us to see the concert online afterwards? I really really really want to share in the joy. I would love to donate too.
Have a wonderful weekend. Stay strong and know we're all praying for you. I don't know what else to say besides God is good. You are strong. Your family is beautiful.
though i couldn't attend-- i was with you all in spirit-- i listened to mindy on my ipod during the alloted time-- you and your family are amazing-- thank you, thank you for allowing all of us to partake of your special spirits :D
What a wonderful night. I hadn't even heard of her and decided to treat myself to a night out and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A big thanks to all that made this concert possible, and of course to Claire and Jane for their wonderful singing.
Remember being little and calling "do over!" That is what I want a Do-over, I just got back from the benefit concert and I call do-over. What an amazing evening. What incredible people, what fabulous music and talent! *sigh* how do we get copies of the concert? A great big THANKYOU to all who made it possible!
Hi Courtney...I've been following your family's story, and have commented before/donated an apron, etc...I don't have anything to say that you haven't heard hundreds of times, but I still need to leave this comment...I cried when I read the article referenced in the post above this one...I hadn't ever heard the details of Stephanie's extensive burns...That sweet angel...I love her, and I've never met her...Your family's love is so incredibly beautiful...I will continue to pray for you all...I'm so glad that Stephanie and Christian are so deeply loved and supported...Thank you for sharing your daily story...It's beautiful too, like you. Sincerely yours, Katie
So you should check out this website that has been started. It's a place where LDS women can go and discuss marital intimacy in a discreet and anonymous matter. We'd love to have your input!!

Is there a way to put the concert online and charge a fee for people to have access to watching it? I would pay to watch it online!
