What The World Needs

Less high fructose corn syrup filled fruit snacks and more classic Halloween cartoons on youtube.

Our favorites are here and here.

If you get rid of the HFCS snacks, where will my kids go to get some?

Thanks for the links! We've exhausted the library's share of Halloween cartoons, I never thought to check youtube.

Because I'm out and out of touch I guess. ;)

Cjane, your adorable Jane looks JUST like Ramona Quimby with that new haircut. I can't get over how much she reminds me.

Haven't you seen the new HFCS commercials? "Honey, its made from corn and has the same calories as sugar..." You should YouTube them, they're hilarious!

Thanks for sharing. Halloween is a favorite at our house too. As I have been sewing Woody and Jessie costumes, my 2 yr old has watched Nightmare Before Christmas countless times... this will help switch it up!

Courtney, I couldn't agree with you more! Just yesterday I tried to find a "fruit snack" sans corn syrup. Guess what...they don't exist...at least not at the grocery stores. You can buy Brachs Fruiti-Os online. They are the only snacks to date, without corn syrup or artificials. If you want to share a large order (I think they come in large orders) please let me know. I'll totally split it with ya.

Oh, and we're watching Casper too...love those old fashioned cartoons!!

Target has those Au'some Fruit Nuggets by Florida's Natural. They are sooooooo yummy. I have to buy them every couple weeks for my 5-y-o Grace & 34-y-o Joel. ;o) Kids of all ages love them. They taste like the real fruit they are made from. Orange, strawberry & blueberry. YUM!

Didn't you know it's made from corn, and it's fine in moderation? :)

I couldn't help but notice each child's different expression. I wanted to insert a cartoon speech bubble over each head and insert they're correlating thoughts. They're so adorable.

this one is one of my favorites and have not even thought about checking it for it on you tube. so, thank you.

why doesn't iTunes sell these? that would make my life so much easier.

also, try fruit leather. cherry is my fave.

plus both his parents were right there and the mom was taking good care of the baby, which the little boy knew and could see himself. he wasn't scared, he was mad that they were laughing when he was being serious. if it's not charming you i wish you could have kept it to yourself, this isn't the place for that, imo. it's all about love and support here.

sorry guys. onward.

I couldn't agree more. What my 3 yr old needs is Pediasure with Fiber. Gotta love that stuff!! Sometimes, it's the only way to get anything in this boy. He gives picky eater a new name!!!
