COURTNEY JANE!!! I must say that I am very offended. For the first time in months of reading your blog you have offended me. This may not all fit in one comment, but I will continue in another. You, my friend (I think of you as such) are funny, you are smart, you are a terrific writer who can engage feelings of love, humor, courage, hope, saddness and triumph in a single paragraph. You are an aunt who combs hair and brushes teeth of several of those offspring on a daily basis, and continues to maintain your own. You are a mother to a beautiful child who inherited at least half of his very attractive gene pool from his very attractive mother. You are a wife to someone whom you love and who loves you after five years of trial and error and that is rare in this world. You are a daughter to loving, laughing and giving parents, (lucky you, lucky them). You are also a daughter of God whom you acknowledge daily for His gifts to you and those you love. You are willing to daily place your ideas, feelings and words in a place for thousands to read and respond to, which makes you corageous. You are INSPIRATIONAL! I am offended that you have allowed the 1 in 20 or 1 in 200 or one in 2000 coments (as many of us would be likely to do)that is critical speak louder and truer to your heart than that of all of the rest of us who eagerly read your words with hope and admiration. You are sincerely loved by people who have never met you (including myself) and I hope that you may internalize those comments. Take that criticism to your sarcastic board and I will be willing to wager (something small and shipable like a Coldstone gift card) that they will all agree with me!
C Jane.... my family and I still think of you and your family daily... wonder how Stephanie and Christian are and I get the chills everytime I picture them together as a family again!!! You got them through this tragedy and continue to do so.... you need to picture the last 4 months without you involved... what would her little kids have done without you??? You are so NOT selfish... dont let negative comments get to you! You are amazing!! Stay happy and positive!!

Hi......Just want to say that I enjoy your blog and am inspired by your sister's story of recovery. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us out here. One question.....Is your sister's nickname pronounced, "Knee-Knee," or "Ni-Ni" (rhymes with eye)??
If I lived in Utah and if I could ski, I'd bid on this. I wouldn't even have to ski, if I lived in Utah I'd bid on it. :) For you, for NieNie recovery, for the love and lessons I've discovered on your blog, I'd bid. Consider this a love bid from the heart.
