Kay, so this is going to sound really random, but I just saw your post about possibly getting your little guy a cat, and I have no idea how the discussion ended, and I am sooo way too lazy to sign up for a discussion board so I could post something on the actual thread where this was being discussed, but I wanted to tell you that we got an Exotic Short-hair Persian when my husband and I got married, and he was the best thing that ever happened to us.
When our son was born, Binx (the cat) w.o.r.s.h.i.p.p.e.d. him. Binx followed him everywhere, came when Kort called, and let Kort carry him all over the house. He was just happy to be part of the family. We seriously almost died when he passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago.
Exotic Persians are also called "rag doll" cats because they are super calm and easy-going and go limp when you pick them up. No scratching, no fighting, just complete submission. They are so great.

Ever since Glee, I've been performing all around the house much to the cringing of the children but I've got your will and enthusiasm and all the right moves...i just need accompaniment (and a singing voice, but I wouldn't let that stop me...) Your song is snappy yes, but just wait til I put out MY YouTube video. I'll bet I get 2 or 3 people look at it while you get 179 'atta girl' comments! And, you've got willing backup singers...mine'll leave the room and there'll be Jeannie, singing to the little Canon Elph, all by her lonesome. Well, in my dreams then, in my dreams.
