The Chief was Teddy Rosevelt from his Rough Rider days. Ever Jane was a genie. I don't know where we come up with this stuff.

Of course, it wasn't the same without you.

One Halloween down, two more to go!

Making the blog tour (and you can still enter October's Motherlode!)
I am Courtney Kendrick and we took The Chief trick-or-treating to only one house because it was raining. We got Raisinets. What are those chances?

Oh that baby genie is to die for! I bet the wishes she grants are extra sweet and come with a cupcake. The Chief is all sorts of handsome. And you look H-O-T, HOT!
Baby genie! Love it--so clever and adorable! Happy Halloween!
I love Ever's expression in the first photo!
Raisinets? What more do you really need anyway?
Raisinets are my favorite and my boys didn't get any (for me to steal.) Are you up for a trade? We have two giant cans of "calming soda" up for grabs...
Ever's Genie costume is the best!! and Th Chief is adorable as always. Looks like fun times at your home.

Your parents spoke at our stake conf yesterday (St. Louis stake) and your Dad spoke at our ward a few weeks ago. Excellent talks both times. He is easy to listen to--like an old, familiar friend. Your mom was sweet and tender. Sorry they couldn't be with their family on Halloween, but we are glad to have them here and they are doing great work. I will share my daughter who is a freshman at BYU with you! I missed her yesterday too (and every day)! Just thought you'd like to know we love and appreciate your folks here in St. Louis!
My 10 yr old was TR the rough rider also. He rocked a mustache all day. We thought we would be the only one to dress as TR. It made me smile to read this.
LOVE the kids' costumes :) both of them!
Love seeing all the pics. :)
Cute costumes! I thought it was funny that you said "we" got raisinets... like YOU were gonna get to eat them or something... you're not, right? JK ;D Hope you had a great Halloween!!
lol love the Chief's costume...so clever!!
Did you give the raisinets to your nephews? ;)
I think that Ever and the other baby in the first picture could be TWINS!!
Too cute!
What do you mean one Halloween down two more to go?? What's happening in 2 years? hmm... 2012? haha
oh my word - that nacho libre outfit. i need to know where they got supplies. my sister-in-law and i and were joking about trying to dress up kids/ourselves in nacho attire because we love it!
happy halloween!
I laughed out LOUD at The Chief's costume! The picture of Ever took a while to load (darn you, slow internet), but the second I saw the tippy top of her little head, I smiled a big big smile b/c I just knew her FACE would be adorable. Glad you had such a good time!
When we lived in UC everyone trick or treated on Saturday night when Halloween was on Sunday. Do they still do that, or did you actually go on Sunday? Where I live it's not even an issue for most people of course, but I was alittle conflicted about whether or not to let my kids go last night (I decided to let them) I had several church friends who didn't though. We did do trunk or treating Friday night, so it's not like those kids totally got the shaft or anything!
Teddy Roosevelt! I love it!
Did your parents tell you about the bizarre St. Louis tradition that kids have to tell a joke when they come trick or treating?
i was visiting st. louis this past week and went to stake conference in our old ward where guess who 2 of the speakers were?! your mom and dad! so fun to see them in real life:)
I just love baby costumes. I am not even baby hungry and I coo at them!
To echo what Kelly said, it was great to see the Council Woman speak at Stake Conference. As your dad spoke, I couldn't help but think that your nephew Nicholas looks a lot like your dad.
How fun!! Love all the pictures...
That is funny you got raisinets. It reminds me of a post from a while back. I love them! :)
Raisinets are my favorite! To the tune of happily falling prey to checkout aisle marketing, grabbing a bag and eating them all before I get home. I even sometimes discard the evidence, not because it matters but because it makes it feel like a more dramatic splurge.
