Hilarious. Where can I get a robot who will blog for me? And would it be possible to also get a model of robot that does laundry, cooking and in fact ALL my housework?
Oh my gosh, I love the vlog! But I am in such a catch 22 because I love it, but loving it is not going to get my comment chosen as the dramatic reading. Oh well, here is my weekly advice in an attempt to get chosen anyway:
1. It's not ok to try and run your own private groundhogs ceremony. The groundhog is a delicate animal and cannot be made to perform like a circus monkey
2. Let Ever Jane know about/ play with all the Disney Princesses..except Ariel. She gets on my nerves.
Anyway, best vlog ever! Ventriloquism, 'porny', the truth behind who writes the posts..it was epic!

So I've been a long time reader. I emailed you once. This is my very first comment. Anyway - I have always liked you. Your vlogs have made me love you. Seriously LOVE! I just watched this and the one you posted last week and it cost me the cleanliness of my living room, and about 12 minutes of snuggling time I'll never get back with my 14 month old - but it was worth it.
Oh man I just LOVE Best Blogging Week Ever. Hilarious and adorable, and a guest star my o my! She looks so much like Le Chief sometimes, adorable. My prayers with Buster!
Also, folks who think writing essays is not real work, and imagine them taking as long to write as they take to read also probably think that movies only take two hours to shoot - just follow the exploding cars, robots and love scenes around, email it to Paramount, done and done.
My heart was pounding when you got to the dramatic reading of an anonymous comment. I was so hoping that it would be my comment that you made fun of this week. It was not mine, darn it. It had just the right blend of biting sarcasm and humor, so I was sure I'd make the cut. Anyway, aren't you afraid that the comment moderation will make it hard to find a good anonymous comment for next Friday?

So I am thinking the best thing I could say... I wish I lived in Provo so I could be your friend. I laughed through this whole vlog thing and want to thank you for lifting my spirits. I am neither LDS nor self-proclaimed atheist feminist but a Christian Catholic mom/wife/nurse/baker/cook who also struggles with self-esteem, body issues, the daily grind and mid-winter whines...now go back and do some more writing so you can proved to that idiot you deserved a vacation...if only from reality...

I hope Ever's little friend is okay and that there is nothing serious happening. It is all I could think about during the vlog. I know what it is like to be the mother of a baby that is hospitalized and sick, so I could only think of the amount of worry his parents must be going through.

hey and re: buster's hospitalization. my daughter was hospitalized at utah valley just a few months ago (at 8.5 months) for a "failure to thrive" intervention. she was also not gaining weight. and it got so bad that at the point she was hospitalized, she had actually started losing weight really quickly - it was very scary. there's not too far down to go from 10 lbs, you know? i was just wondering about buster - if its anything similar or if they even have any answers at this point. and i wondered if our experiences with our daughter could be helpful at all if they are still looking for answers. we still don't know all the answers, but we do know that she has food protein proctocolitis. she had to stop nursing and was put on a special amino-based formula called elecare. the main symptoms she was manifesting (which led from our pediatrician to a pediatric GI doc to the hospital) were: mucous and blood in stool, no weight gain and eventually weight loss, and irritability and crying from stomach pain, and lethargy/clinginess. anyways, i'm really getting going :)... don't even know if they are there for anything similar. but if i can help with any info, i'd love to. my e-mail is helpthe3percent@gmail.com

So I had a dream a couple nights ago that my husband, daughters and I were having breakfast in some retro diner-type place. Enter you, Chup and the littl'uns. You come and take a seat near us and drop these super-size twinkies on the table while you wait for the rest of your order. I then go to the back of the restaurant to change my daughter's diaper. When I return, the dining area is swarming with Clark siblings and their families. I am about to ask my husband if he has said hi to Vance yet (he's Vance and Page's insurance guy and piano tuner) and then my daughter wakes me up. Maybe I read your blog too much.
But seriously though, a vacation from what?

I too share the stock photography/headshot experience. Though the truly sad part is that I never liked the headshot I got out of the deal, and yet, there my face is, selling haircare products and advice books for young women.
