This is completely unrelated, but Chup, if you are from Twin Falls, I know that Julienne of whom you spoke! She really does look like Buttercup from Princess Bride, doesn't she? No wonder you had a crush on her. She is one of my dearest friends from college, and I've stayed at her family's ranch. They sold it a year or two ago, and the H family were all very sad. Julienne is doing very well--married with 4 kids, and she's lived all over the world. I love that girl!

"It's a small world after all..." keeps running through my head. I follow Courtney's blog and tonight as I was reading your "guest" post, I couldn't believe it when I saw the picture of your sister with a guy (Andy) from my hometown. I was much younger than he in high school, but know his family very well. I remember hearing about his loss and feeling terrible for him. What beautiful thoughts you shared about your sister and her life. I lost a son 8 years ago and know how close it draws you to Heavenly Father when you experience the living reality of his beautiful plan. Hooray for the knowledge that families are eternal! Thank you for remembering and sharing.

I just lost my little brother (34 years old) seven days ago. Thank you for reminding that I should be jealous of where he is. That knowledge has brought me great comfort....I just need to keep reminding myself when I miss him so much.

Beautiful tribute to your sister! Thank you for letting us share in your memories. I lost my husband in 1985. He was only 37. I didn't cry at his funeral, either, because God gave me a beautiful vision of Roy in heaven sitting at the feet of Jesus, singing praises to Him.

Chup,
I lost my baby brother (he was 17) on the morning of my son's bris (a very important event in my religion that goes on no matter what the other circumstances are as it is the entrance into our religion). It was an auto accident. This earth lost a truly wonderful human being that day, one who loved all, cared for everyone no matter their faith, their appearance, their intelligence - no matter what. He was there for the people who couldn't be there for themselves and an advocate for them.
Your post was beautiful and just today I was thinking of my brother as I saw a butterfly cross me today.
Thanks for sharing with us. It always helps to share the ones we have lost with others.

When I found out where the temple was being built, this accident instantly flashed into my mind. Now the site truly is a sacred spot.

Those are the worst phone calls....my mom died in a car accident 18 years ago when I was 11. It's weird how some days you just feel like you got kicked in the stomach. But I would never want to bring her back here....ever. I just look forward to the day when I will get to be reunited with her in eternity. What a blessing that is!

Hey Chris...I miss her too...everyday...everynight...everysecond of everyday...I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't think about her and wonder what it would be like if she was here...I still to this day think it just isn't fare...I needed her and I still need her...Thank you for the awesome memories...I have soooo many I too could share with you...she was an amazing daughter, sister and friend...She will forever be in my heart and soul...
