I was at the grocery store with my 3 very small kids and as we were waiting to check out the kids and I were looking at the fresh cut flowers. My daughter (then age 2) and I were talking about them being pretty. The woman in front of me bought some and they really were lovely. After she paid she turned and said "Here, these are you for. They are from your kids". I went wide eyed, stammered thank yous (I was shocked) and she smiled and said have a nice day. I'd never met her before and I've never seen her since. Another time when someone had trouble with their card I paid for it, remembering this woman. She REALLY made my day/week/etc.

Loved this! When you said "gold" walls before, I didn't realize you meant gold, as in metallic gold! Wow! I can see why your hubby hesitated, but the finished product looks amazing... guess he just needed to have faith in your vision!

I have done the same thing so many times... left my debit card in front of the computer- ugh! I need to just write the number down by the computer. Last time I was stuck with a cart full of groceries and an impatient cashier waiting for my husband to run it to me-

Yet another thing Ikea gets right! Nice customers! I love Ikea! We drive an hour to get to one and I've yet to go where I don't come out wanting to live in Sweden. As long as it looks like an Ikea store. Somehow they make it look fun to live in 300 sq feet of space.

years ago I had a basket full of food and had no check book when I went to pay, baby in cart, next town over. NO blog to help out. Stranger could see how flustered I was and came over and paid on the spot, gave me her address and said I trust you.
love that we can do and recieve like that in a world like ours.

This is such a wonderful act of kindness and reminds me there is good in the world.

I actually sat in my chair, with my laptop, reading the entire thread you started one this and cried all the way through. It's beautiful.

I live in Chicago and generally walk or take public transportation. Saturday, I walked two miles to the grocery store and was on my way home, when it started raining. I missed the bus by a minute. Luckily, a very sweet cabbie from Algeria stopped for me and gave me a ride home. When I tried to pay him, he refused to take it. It was a very unexpected, generous gesture and it made my day. There really are some wonderful people in this world.

To answer your question:
It is a perpendicular line connected to a skyscraper.
It doesn't seem possible but it is.
Right down to the very last skyscraper.
