This video was so heartbreaking, inspiring, and most importantly, humbling to me. I am in absolute awe of Mr. Williams' faith and willingness to let the Savior in. I feel like, if he can be so submissive to the Lord after experiencing so much loss, I too am capable of achieving this same submissiveness during my own trivial trials. New goal for me: Let the Lord in. It's more than okay to do so. Thank you CJane.

I really can't wrap my mind around the magnitude of this family's loss. I hope the boy/man responsible truly understands the gift he's been given. Most people would not have been so forgiving. I hope he uses this for good.

This video was incredibly hard to watch. It's always so heartbreaking to hear of tragedies like this. This man has such a good and loving spirit about him. Beautiful.

I understand that the point of this video is Chris Williams' unbelievable capacity for forgiveness, and I think it is amazing and admirable that he found that forgiveness within himself so soon after the accident (or at all, really). But I have a question: It looks from the video as though this kid is not in jail anymore. Is that right? And if it is, why not? I understand he was a minor, but kids as young as 13 have been tried as adults after killing fewer people. And people have served life sentences for lesser crimes where nobody was killed. I've got many years of working with teenagers under my belt, and I know they "make mistakes" but good grief. Forgiven or not, shouldn't he be in jail for many, many years? He acted with complete arrogance and a willful disregard for human life. Please, somebody tell me that the video is misleading in making it look as though this kid is walking free already. Please tell me he is still serving time...??
