I like PB&Js in so many different ways. I like Goobers on fake French bread and on real French bread. I like to mix strawberry jelly with peanut butter for other white bread, and on yummy freshly baked whole wheat bread, I like real peanut butter, i.e., the Adam's variety, and honey. YUMMM!!! I want me some that.

I always carefully prepared pb&j for family by thinly spreading pb on one side of the bread (white because that is what my husband preferred and he bought the groceries)and more generously on the other. Then jam of some sort in between.

Now I have come to realize that it makes for a very messy sandwich. So now I spread pb on just one side and the jam on the other which soaks into the bread and is much less messy. Course my children no longer lives at home, my husband usually makes his own sandwiches now and I eat pb&j so seldom anymore that I usually forget that I use a different recipe.

I prefer wheat bread to white but do prefer white for my PB&J's (childhood nostalgia) sans seedy jams (they just get stuck in thy teeth). Strawberry jam my daddy makes is my fav but I do like the raspberry sans seeds or the rare huckleberry because I likes me to say "I'll be your huckleberry!"

I love my bread (honey whole wheat as well) toasted. It makes the peanut butter warm and oh so yummy. I prefer a good raspberry jam. I do love the seeds. My grandma makes a killer homemade raspberry jam. I have discovered that I also love red plum jam. I love PB&J!

MMM. Maybe that'll be for lunch today. For me it's definitely wheat bread (the REALLY good stuff if it's been on sale), creamy pb, homemade strawberry jam (if I haven't used it all up out of my freezer yet), and to kick it up a bit, I love to put plain potato chips inside it. CRRRRRRRRRUNCH!! Seriously! Try it, you'll LOVE it!!

Am I the only one here who hates PB and J (or PB and H). Always did. I am not sure why, but it does give me the dry heaves...

OK, I might be the only person on here who has said that pb sandwiches have to be on grandma sycamore's WHITE bread with homemade strawberry freezer jam oh, and the peanut butter must be adams-in-the-fridge. i eat my pb&j on WW bread every day but i long for the white bread. so if i had my druthers...there she'd be.

Okay. Just read your "Infertility and Fulfillment" essay. It was a great read. I think you should really write that book! I think everyone should have it as a reference, because as much as I'd like to think I've always been sensitive about certain things -(especially since a dear sister of mine had a lot of problems of a similar nature, only she could get pregnant very easily...but carrying the baby to full term, proved to be impossible for her)-I know I've also said a lot of stupid things in my day.

Anyway, I think I'll go have me a PB&J.
