A turtle is walking through a park, when he is attacked by a couple of snails.

The snails beat up the turtle, rob him and leave him lying on his back.

Later when the police are interviewing the turtle they ask him what happened.

The turtle says:" I don't know! It all happened so fast!!"

And Anon, no, it doesn't bother me that other people have more money than I do. There are so many people out there who are wealthier than me, and there just isn't time for me to hate them all. I figure that as long as they aren't making their money through drug, arms, or human trafficking, it's really none of my business.

This post made me smile from ear to ear and re-experience my childhood a bit. I LOVED any and all museums as a kid, still do at age 32. My dear parents packed up my brother and I and took us all over the state to experience as many as possible.

I will always have fond memories of those times. The sheer wonder and excitement, the smells, the sights. The thrill a child feels when their abundant curiosity encounters something new and strange. Rewards all around indeed, great post cjane:)

We were at the Bean the same day as you! We were heading out (to the creamery for lunch--yum) as you were going in.

My kids love that place--it never gets old. We had to take my cousin and her kids there while they were here visiting. Her little girls loved it. I guess we should have stayed and followed you around though since you have connections to get the reptile show on demand. Our little ones were bummed there wasn't one for us while we were there. Glad you had fun!

I didn't know that taking children to a FREE museum was "priveliged". And you know what? Evan IF she wanted to pay to take the children, so what! That is her choice, and it's not up to you tell her otherwise.

As far as knowing the director...why is that a big deal to you? Have you ever considered that maybe the fact that her family has lived in Provo for so many years just might explain how they know so many people in the community?

Yes, what a terrible thing Courtney did by taking all of the children to a museum...where they might learn something....oh, the humanity! And imagine, her husband taking photos with his nice camera. Again, I ask, why do YOU care?

Once again, I will never understand why people feel like it's their duty to wag their fingers at cjane on HER blog! Yes, disagreeing with her is fine, and those thoughts should most definitely be shared. But coming into someone else's forum and being downright hateful...so uncalled for. I love the Bean. I took my little guy when we lived in Provo and could walk across campus and over the swirly bridge at the ASB to get there. Then in later years I too, got brave and took a pack of nieces and nephews with my sister as well. There is nothing that says summer in Provo to me quite like a spontaneous trip to the Bean Museum with a stop for a lolly at the Crest on 7th south on the way home. It makes me remember my 8th grader as a babe when he was the age of the Chief.
