You made my day with this post! I just found your blog, and I'm hooked :) Your day sounds like my days.....right down to the Pirate's "buoy" ;) and Youtube cats!! if you can believe that! I have two boys....2.5 yrs and 4 months....and I wouldn't change it for the world either.

Last month I kept telling my sisters this same exact thing, especially my younger sister is isn't married and does not have children yet.

I told her I was going to do a blog-post about it, but you beat me to it. Great minds think alike-I guess!

I told her it is exactly like Groundhogs Day, but for some reason I wouldn't change it for anything. I really do despise the humdrum {especially dishes and laundry}, but it is in those moments that my kids say something that has us all hysterically laughing, or I watch them playing out the window in the backyard and realize this {raising kids} will fly by too quickly.

It's so true! Every day is groundhog day if you want it to be; routine is comforting yet concerning at times.

But then come days like today: I've had three surprises since waking up and must admit that at first, I was a bit annoyed that my routine was broken.

But then I remembered your post and decided that these unexpected moments would have been bliss to Bill Murray half way through that film so I should embrace them.

And so I pulled out my camera and turned the day around. You can read about it at:
