I was planning a "Pioneer Day" themed birth for daughter #2 and she came on August 15th.

Been living her life pretty much the same way ever since. 17 years.

And I love her the most for that.

My preferred snack pre delivery. GIANT chocolate bar with almonds and a bag of powdered sugar donuts. False alarm contractions. No problem, do it all over again.

Must confess though that my last 2 of my 3 pregnancies, I resorted to a castor oil coctail before the candy bar donut ritual due to much impatience.

My honey of a companion is a June bug. May & June are my favorite months of the year.

Yes, I agree, June...I think the birthstones are diamonds or pearls or something fabulous like that so you will get fancy jewelry to commemorate your baby's birth (hint-hint Chup!)

Have to delurk because I enjoy your blog so much.
I highly recommend June 1st as a birth day. My younger son was born June 1. (He was 9 days overdue - that due date thing is merely a guideline). I thought it was pretty cool to have a June baby.
And have that baby whenever. People are far too impatient with this kind of thing.
